Julian Rachlin grew up in Austria and has Lithuanian roots. In the 1980s, he became a sensation as a child prodigy and was the youngest soloist to play with the Vienna Philharmonic under Riccardo Muti. In Mendelssohn's romantic violin concerto, Julian Rachlin will display all of his skills as a violinist. He will also conduct Rossini's overture "The Thieving Magpie" with humour and drive and musically explore the tragedy of this exceptional composer's life in Tchaikovsky's Fourth Symphony.

Born Bruce Liu in Paris in 1997 to Chinese parents. In October 2021, pianist Bruce Liu won the legendary Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. Since his triumph in Warsaw, Bruce Liu has pursued an intensive concert career and is in worldwide demand as a Chopin interpreter.
The Amsterdam Sinfonietta, conducted by Candida Thompson, embodies the highest level of ensemble playing and is recognised as the Netherlands' best string orchestra.
